Crisis Line Volunteers

Suicide Prevention Center, Inc. (SPC) is looking for volunteers to answer its crisis hotline. Volunteers must be 18 years old, reliable and non-judgemental. A minimum of 52 hours of intensive training and a three (3) month apprenticeship is required before a volunteer is fully accepted as a crisis interventionist. Volunteers must put in a minimum of 16 hours per month for at least 2 years. SPC provides on-going monthly training classes. Non-Crisis Line Volunteers

The Suicide Prevention Center is also looking for non-crisis line volunteers. We need volunteers to assist us at fundraising events such as our annual "Make a Difference...
